Between both the OS X and iOS versions this is a fantastic set of tools for learning and viewing the night sky. I use the OS X version for planning and the iOS version to control my Celestron AVX mount using SkyQ Link. Works amazing well. The only thing missing is moving your observations between the two applications, but I have no doubt that’s in the works along with WiFi control of mounts from OS X.

Additionally, being able to add your own equipment is a bonus and provides a nice sense of what your field of view will be when you finally have clear skies to enjoy. Well worth the money.
